Marcia Reid Windross is a Senior Human Resources professional, specializing in Diversity and Inclusion. Her professional experience spans across different industries including advertising, banking, retail and travel.
She holds a Master’s degree in Organizational Psychology with a concentration in Human Resources Management from Columbia University, and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from New York University.
Marcia is a sponsor, mentor and connector who believe in giving back to her community and being of service to others. She serves on Harlem YMCA, BAI Steering Committee, Hope Inc. Board, Montego Bay High School Alumni International Association (MBHSIAA) Board, HR Next and several Diversity Councils. She previously chaired Board Development for the Jamaica YMCA in Queens and as an Advisory Board member of the NY Urban Financial Services Coalition.
She mentors numerous college students, young professionals and assist members of her church through the resume writing and interviewing processes. She has been asked to speak at BMCC on several occasions. She served as speaker and panelist at past UFSC national conferences and moderator at several New York chapter events. She also served as Mistress of Ceremonies at her High School (MBHSIAA) gala and other Fund Raising events.
Marcia is an active member of her church, Hope Cathedral, located in Jackson, NJ, where she resides with her son Jamaal and husband Dr. Denham Windross.
